Chetan Sakariya: A classic example of how a dream does become a reality; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work. Chetan Sakariya started his journey from a village which is 10 kilometers from Bhavnagar in Gujarat. The Sir Bhavsinhji Cricket Academy is the place where he first started training. In those days, Sakariya uses to help his father in his business, who owned and drove a tempo, and with a small income, his father took care of the family. Chetan uses to dreams of becoming a professional cricket. Finally, Chetan Sakariya made his debut for the Rajasthan Royals match against Punjab Kings and shocked everyone with a mind-blowing performance. Sakariya took the three most important wickets and a fantastic catch that amazed everybody. In the IPL auction 2021, he was picked up by Rajasthan Royals for a massive amount of Rs 1.2 crore, which was like a dream come true for the young Sakariya. But unfortunately, he lost his brother just a month before he was selected in IPL 2021.
In a heart-wrenching note shared by his mother, she said that Chetan's younger brother had died by suicide, and the family didn't tell him because he was playing the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy at that time. They kept the reality hidden from him for ten days, and when Chetan gets to know about it, he was devastated and didn't eat or speak to anyone for a week because the two brothers were close. His mother said, "I hope. No one in this world has to suffer what we have suffered. Chetan's younger brother committed suicide while playing the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and finished the sixth-highest wicket-taker. We didn't inform him about his brother's death for the primary ten days as we didn't want his game to be affected. We only told him that his father wasn't keeping well. It's not only the player who has to devotes his life to the game, but it's also his family, friends, coaches who together dream of his success and make sacrifices every day in their own capacity.
